Swiss artist Ugo Rondinones take on the LV Artycapucines is a joy to gaze at. It is part of a special artist collaboration where the classic Capucines is transformed from a bag to a piece of fine art you can carry. With thousands of tiny beads sewn on by hand, the leather takes on a harlequin pattern, directly nodding to Ugos love for clowns and jesters. If you look closely, youll also see flowers inside the diamonds that recall the classic LV monogram. Even the handle is special, made of a translucent rainbow that reflects colors onto the bag when the sun hits it. While it looks like a collectors item from a gallery, it is still a functional bag. It is a special, colorful example of how creative a handbag can actually be.
