When Audemars Piguet introduced the Code 11.59 collection, it sparked one of the most passionate debates in modern watchmaking history. Far from playing it safe, the historic house from Le Brassus chose to challenge conventions by creating a watch that refuses to be categorized. The reference 26393CR is a bold technical statement—a high complication chronograph wrapped in an avant garde architectural envelope that rewards the true enthusiast willing to look beyond the ordinary and appreciate master level complexity. At 41 mm, the case is a masterclass in modern manufacturing, cleverly combining a round bezel with an octagonal middle case core crafted from contrasting 18k white gold and 18k rose gold. This multi layered construction is accented by openworked lugs that are meticulously welded to the top bezel and baseback ring, creating an optical illusion of a floating case body. Beneath the uniquely curved, double curved sapphire crystal lies a sunburst grey dial framed by a matching tachymeter scale, punctuated with rose gold hands and three sub dials. Visible through the exhibition sapphire caseback beats Audemars Piguet’s in house Calibre 4401 integrated flyback chronograph movement, complete with a striking openworked gold oscillating weight. Fitted to a classic black alligator leather strap secured by an 18k white gold pin buckle, this 2020 pre owned Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 is built for the collector who marches to the beat of their own drum.
