The Soft Trunk is Louis Vuitton taking one of its most recognisable luggage references and translating it into something considerably more contemporary. The familiar Monogram appears here through a see through mesh construction, which changes the relationship between the pattern and the bag: instead of sitting solidly on the surface, it becomes part of the visual effect. The result feels lighter, more graphic, and distinctly of the moment.
