The Kelly carries its own mythology; Grace Kelly once used this bags silhouette to hide her pregnancy from photographers, a fact so central to Hermès history that the house named the design after her. Six decades later, that same structure now appears in shiny Ébène alligator: a brown so dark it photographs black until direct light catches the leather and pulls out a warmer, almost reddish undertone. The Sellier construction keeps every edge sharp and deliberate, resin coated and stitched from the outside—a deliberate contrast to the softer, slouchier Kellys most people picture. Gold hardware finishes it without competing with it.
